There I would become the heroine of the stories I imagined. There I began my life as a writer.It took three decades to understand that persistent impulse and get the stories in my head on paper. My award-winning Grayson Brothers series, set in 19th Century Fredonia, echoes the sounds and smells of my childhood. Like me, my characters are driven to understand what it means to be alive, to be naked to each experience, to fully embrace the unknown.I don't climb trees any more, but I try to keep my youthful spirit alive and counter the undesirable affects of my sedentary job by practicing tai chi, kickboxing, combat fitness, and karate.Writing is my passion, but it can be a somewhat lonely profession, so I'm thrilled to be writing the next Grayson book with my sister and childhood playmate (guest author Gail Lindstrom). I'm looking forward to the work, the laughs, and what promises to be another amazing adventure.
